UP Polls: AL seeks final lists from root leaders

Staff Correspondent: Ruling Awami League (AL) directed root leaders to send the final lists of candidates who have been selected to contest in the upcoming Union Parishad Polls to be held on March 22 with party symbols for the first time.

Central Awami League told the selection board comprising of district, upazila and union presidents and secretaries to send the final lists to Dhanmondi office within February 15.

AL Office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap said this in a press note on Friday.
