Uttara Alauddin Market catches fire

Staff Correspondent: A deadly fire has been broke out at Alauddin Market in the capital`s Uttara.

The fire originated in the market just before Iftar on Friday.

13 units of Fire Brigade were trying to douse the fire while the report was published.

Confirming the news, Mizanur Rahman, Duty officer from Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarter, said the fire might have originated from electric short circuit.

Ambulances were also sent to the scene from the fear of casualties, he added.
