Sport Correspondent: Bangladesh lost the first Twenty20 International of a two-match series against South Africa by 52 runs while they also lost the second match of the Twenty20 International on Tuesday (today).

Though they restricted the visitors to 148 in the first match and 169 runs in the second match but their early wickets falling sank them on the day at the Sher-e- Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, however, was disappointed after losing the series to South Africa on the day although he said, "We have to learn from our mistakes in the games."

The Bangladesh skipper also said, "Bangladesh team will come back in full swing in One-Day match."

Earlier, Mashrafe Mortaza gave credits to the bowlers specially the spinners but said that lack of partnership in batting order was the main cause of the defeat.

"Bowlers bowled petty well. We would have done well to restrict them to 130, but we couldn`t build partnerships as a batting order,” Mashrafe said at the presentation ceremony of the first match in the two-match series.

Mashrafe said that starting with the spinners was their game plan as the wicket looked a bit slow.

“The wicket looked a bit slow, it was a plan [to start with the spinners] and all the bowlers bowled well, I think. I think batters played too many shots, but we can fix it, it`s not too much of a worry, the way they are batting,” he said.
