‘If govt fails, BNP will form national unity’

Senior Reporter: BNP senior leader ASM Hannan Shah has said that ‘If the government fails to form the national unity against militancy, BNP will form this”.

The BNP leader said this at a discussion on ‘National unity to prevent militancy and violence’ organized by Zia Parishad at the National Press Club on Saturday.

If the government obstructs the BNP’s initiative it will prove that Awami League is involved in militant activities, he also said.

It is the responsibility of Awami League as the party is now in power, so they should call a convention, Hannan Shah said.

Chairman of Zia Parishad Kabir Murad presided over the discussion.
