Shironamhin`s album goes global on July 19

DHAKA, July 14: Renowned rock band Shironamhin is all prepared to launch its fifth album titled `Shironamhim` globally on July 19.

The album features 10 songs including Abar Hasi Mukh, Brishti Kabya, Michhil, Chithhi, Kori, Ahoto kichhu golpo. The songs have been written and composed by the band members.

‘I hope our fans will like this album just like our past four albums. This album also has our signature style of composition,’ Tuhin, vocal of the band, said.

In Bangladesh, the album will be released under the banner of Incursion. Enthusiasts will be able to order their copies from rokomari.com.

For the fans of Shironamhin, the band has given an extra benefit. For the first 200 buyers of the album, there will be a gift comprising of guitar picks of the band members, booklets with lyrics of the songs, stories behind the songs and other stories of the band. The package has been designed by the band itself.

The overseas release of the album in many radios, local and abroad, and 22 online portals will be supervised by an American music label called Qinetic Music. Qinetic Music will ensure that there will be no piracy or illegal downloading of the album. Since the supervision is being handled by an American company, any illegalities regarding the album will fall under the USA rule.

So far, Shironamhin has released four albums, all of which have been well-received by the rock music lovers of the country.

Their first album Jahaji was able to generate a strong ripple with its release in the country in 2004. Thereafter, albums like Ichchhe Ghuri in 2006, Bondho Janala in 2009 and Shironamhin Rabindranath in 2010 enhanced the image of the troupe as a leading band in the rock music arena of the country.

The present line-up of the band consists of Tuhin on vocal, Zia on bass guitar, Shafin on drums, Rashel on keyboard and Diat on guitar.
