United Airways to fly daily to Kathmandu from Aug 24

DHAKA, Aug 14: United Airways (BD) Limited, the country’s leading largest private airline, will fly daily to Kathmandu from 24th of August from Dhaka.
On 4th of January 2010, United Airways started Kathmandu flight from Dhaka. Initially Dhaka - Kathmandu sector operated weekly four flights.
Now United Airways has planned to increase Dhaka-Kathmandu daily flight.
Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka return fare will be from Tk. 16888 (inclusive of all taxes and surcharges). One ways fare starts from Tk. 7589 (inclusive of all taxes and surcharges).
Everyday flights will depart from Dhaka at 1600hrs and also depart from Kathmandu at 1750hrs. All timings are local.
United Airways is now operating international routes from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata.
The airline is operating domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet, Jessore, Cox’s Bazar, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barisal.
Hopefully Dhaka-Singapore and Dhaka-Doha flight will be start on September 2013.
It has planned to operate Karachi and Yangon. Another domestic route Dhaka-Ishwardi flight will be start on soon.
Now United Airways (BD) Ltd. has total 9 aircraft which are one Dash-8-100, two ATR-72, four MD-83 and two Airbus-310 aircraft. Hopefully one MD-83, one ATR-72 and two Jetstream aircraft will enrich the fleet very soon.
Since its inception, United received positive market response and presently holds a major share of the domestic, regional and international market.
