Stocks bounce back to positive trend

DHAKA, Sept 3: The share trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) bounced back with positive trend on Tuesday.
 
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 27.25 points to reach 4127.61 at close of trading. Of the 287 issues traded, 100 gained, 152 declined and 35 remained unchanged. Shares worth Tk 456.72 crore changed hands on the day.

The top gainers at the DSE were Hakkani Publishers, Legacy Foods, Ibn Sina,  BD Autocars, Miracle Industry, Anwar Galvanising, JMI Syringes, National Polymer, Desh Garments, and Rahim Textile.
 
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 42 points to reach 8047.62 at close. Of the 206 issues traded, 88 gained, 97 declined and 21 remained unchanged. The value of the traded issues was Tk 36.01 crore.
