11 projects involving Tk 9,761cr approved in ECNEC

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved a Tk9,761.24 crore budget to implement 11 projects.
The approval came from an ECNEC meeting held at the NEC conference room in the city on Wednesday with ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing journalists after the meeting Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said the ECNEC meeting approved a total of 11 projects involving a cost of Taka 9,761.24 crore.
Of the total cost, Taka 8,267.86 crore will come from the government exchequer, Taka 703.38 crore from project assistance while Taka 790.38 crore will come from the own fund of the organisations concerned, said Kamal.
