Cabinet approves list of holidays for 2022

The Cabinet has approved the list of holidays for 2022.

Like the current year, next year will also have a total of 22 days of leave in general and executive orders.

Khandker Anwarul Islam, cabinet secretary, said this while addressing a press briefing at the Secretariat on Thursday noon (October 28).

Earlier, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the meeting virtually from her official residence Ganobhaban. Cabinet members attended the meeting from the secretariat.

Among the other eight government executive order holidays, there are three weekly holidays. Government employees can enjoy three days of optional holiday on the occasion of religious festivals.
