2 killed in Khulna ‘gunfight’

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: At least two people were killed and one injured in a ‘gunfight’ with police in the metropolitan city on Sunday midnight.
The gunfight took place in Railway Provati Govt Primary School and Nurnagar Munnujan Govt Girls School areas.
The deceased were identified as Md Babu alias Guddu Babu (30) and Al Mahmud (24).
There were many cases against them.
A youth named Yeasin Arafat (28) has been injured in a gunfight who has been admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Assistant Commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police Monira Sultana confirmed the matter.
