21 Bangladesh Navy crew injured in Beirut explosion

At least 21 soldiers of Bangladesh Navy were injured as an explosion rocked the Lebanese capital port Beirut on Tuesday.

One of the injured soldiers was in critical condition and others were released after giving primary treatment.

The injured has been admitted to the American University of Beirut Medical Centre, according to an ISPR press release.

During the explosion, Bangladesh Navy ship BNS Bijoy, was anchored at the Beirut port. BNS Bijoy is a Castle-class guided missile corvette of the Bangladesh Navy.

BNS Bijoy is working in United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
