Parliament Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that 294 Bangladesh nationals were killed by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India in 10 years (since 2009 to 2018).
The minister told this to the parliament while replying to a question raised by BNP lawmaker Harun-Or-Rashid on Thursday.
Asaduzzaman said, “Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) is trying with all-out efforts to decrease Bangladeshi killing by BSF at zero level. BSF also agreed on the issue. The government is taking necessary steps at diplomatic in this regard.”
In reply to another query raised lawmaker Mozaffar Hossain, the Minister said, “The incumbent government maintains zero-tolerance against the militancy. Law enforcers and intelligence agencies are always active to curb militant whether they are males or females. The government is creating different facilities to modernize these specialized law enforcement agencies.
