3 Rohingyas held with Myanmar SIM cards

Police detained three Rohingyas with 222 mobile SIM cards of Myanmar from Teknaf land port in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday.

The detainees are- Nur Hasan, 22, son of Nurul Alam, Salim, 26, son of Hasen and Rabi Alam, 22, son of Meher Sharif.

Police and locals said, the mobile SIM cards were taken form a trawler of Myanmar in Teknaf. The security forces caught them first. Later, a police team led by Sub-Inspector Sabbir held them around 6:30pm. Meanwhile, 222 mobile SIM cards of Myanmar.

Teknaf Model police station OC Pradip Kumar Das said, legal action will be taken against them.
