4 killed as train hits covered van in Feni

Feni Correspondent: At least four people were killed and two others injured when a train hit a covered van at a level crossing in Feni early Wednesday.
 

The accident took place around 4.00am at Baraipur rail crossing near Feni railway station.
Feni railway police outpost in-charge Abdul Alim confirmed the matter to risingbd.

The deceased couldn’t be identified immediately.

According to sources, a Chittagong-bound train of Turna Nishita Express from Dhaka rammed a covered van, leaving three persons including the cover van driver dead on the spot and three others injured.

On information, police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.

The injured were sent to Feni Sadar Hospital and one of them died there.
