3 of a family among 4 killed in Kurigram road crash

Four people, including three members of a family, were killed and two others seriously injured when a BRTC bus collided head on with a car in Kurigram.

The accident took place in Daserhat area of the Kurigram-Rangpur Highway on Thursday (August 13) morning.

The deceased were identified as Akbar Hossain, his wife Bilkis Begum, their son Belal Hossain, and the car driver Delbar Hossain.

Akbar Hossain’ daughter Aysha Siddika and car’s helper who were critically injured are now undergoing treatment at the hospital nearby.

Meanwhile, seriously injured Aysha was shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kurigram Sadar police station Anwarul Islam confirmed the matter.
