4 more Bangladeshis test positive for coronavirus in Singapore

Four more Bangladeshis have tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19 in Singapore. The country's Interior Ministry said in a press release on Thursday (April 2).

With this, the total number of Bangladeshi nationals infected with coronavirus in Singapore rose to 32.

Over the past few days, the rate of Bangladeshis testing positive for coronavirus in the country has continued to rise.

The ministry said on Thursday that a 27-year-old Bangladeshi has been found to be infected with coronavirus on Wednesday and the Bangladeshi is being treated at the National Center for Infectious Disease. On the same day, another Bangladeshi holding a long-term pass has been found to be infected with coronavirus and being treated at Khoo Tek Puyat Hospital.

Two other Bangladeshi nationals holding long-term pass have been found to be infected with coronavirus on Thursday. One of them is 45 years old and the other is 36 years old. They are undergoing treatment at the National Center for Infectious Disease.
