5 fake DB cops held in city

Staff Correspondent: Police in a drive detained five fake members of Detective Branch (DB) of police from Kamalapur area in Dhaka on Monday.

The detainees are- Firoz, Moniruzzaman, Badal, Momin Ali and Shahidul Hasan.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Omar Faruk of Motijheel police station told risingbd.com that acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive in Kamalapur Biswas tower area in the wee hours of Monday and detained the fake DB men.

Meanwhile, police also seized DB jackets, handcuffs, walkie-talkies and a private car from their possession.
