5 members of fraud gang held in city

Staff Correspondent: Crime Investigation Department (CID) personnel have detained five members of a fraud gang from different parts of the city early Wednesday.
The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Special police super of CID Molla Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter to media this morning.
He said that acting on a tip-off, the law enforces detained them. Meanwhile, the detectives also seized 150 pioneer masters' cards and fake national identity cards from the spot.
Details will be disclosed in a press conference at CID office, he added.
