53,173 hajj pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia

Staff Correspondent: A total of 53,173 Hajj pilgrims have arrived successfully in Saudi Arabia.

Of them, 3,338 pilgrims went Mecca under government management and 49,835 under private management.

In a special hajj bulletin from Mecca IT help desk confirmed this today.

According to the hajj bulletin, A total of 77 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and 87 flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines have so far ferried 53, 173 pilgrims till August 10 to Saudi Arabia marking the holy hajj this year.

Some 1, 27,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh are set to perform this year's Hajj. Biman Bangladesh Airlines will carry 63,599, the half of the total Hajj pilgrims, and rest of the half will be carried by Saudi Airlines, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia.
