‘Assurance to cut plane fare on domestic route’

Secretariat Correspondent: State Minister Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministery Md Mahbub Ali has given assurance to decrease fare for government and non-government airlines flights on domestic routes.

He said, “The matter will be discussed with officials concerned.”

The State Minister told this to the reporters after a meeting with delegations of Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB) at his office of the ministry at the Secretariat on Sunday.

When drawn his attention over India’s low fare for domestic route, he said, “Different factors are involved in this case. The fare of state-owned Bangladesh Biman Airlines is comparatively low. The matter will be discussed with private companies too.”
