BNP holds 4-hour close-door meeting

National Standing Committee of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has held a four-hour-long close-door meeting.

The meeting started at 4:00pm on Saturday at the party chairperson’s political office in the capital’s Gulshan and ended at 8:00pm.

BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman chaired the meeting who attended through Skype from London.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Khandoker Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed, Jamiruddin Sarcar, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury were present in the meeting.

BNP did not brief media after the meeting.

However, it was learnt that BNP stalwarts discussed about issues over Zia Charitable case which is set for hearing on Sunday.
