Bangladesh embassy in Lebanon has urged the Bangladeshi nationals who were injured in Beirut explosion and those who are not still getting a scope for treatment, to contact the embassy.

The urge was made in a statement issued from the embassy on Saturday (August 8).

“The Bangladeshis, who were injured in Beirut blast and are yet to receive any treatment in hospitals, have been requested to contact the Bangladesh embassy in Lebanon,” the statement said.

The embassy has a helpline number (+961-81744207) which is always ready to help those contacting, the statement added.

Two days after a massive explosion ripped through Lebanon’s capital city Beirut, the death toll has climbed to 157, while the total number of injured people has crossed 5,000. Rescue operation is still underway. It is feared that the death toll in the explosion may increase further.
