Brahmanbaria clash leaves 15 injured

At least 15 people including policemen were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over fishing in a pond in Sahebnagar village in Nabinagar upazila on Wednesday (June 3).

On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Meanwhile, the law enforcers held 12 persons from the spot.

Police said, a person named Sumon Mia and his followers beat Rabbani Mia centering fishing on Tuesday (June 2). Later, following the issue, supporters of the both men locked into clash again this noon, leaving 15 people injured.
