Brother, sister drown in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Two children were drowned in Baradi village of Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Mawa, 2, daughter of Abul Kalam, and Apan, 2, son of Amin. They were cousins.

Sources said that the kids were playing at the pond near the house. At one stage, they fell into the pond and drowned into the water.

Later, the locals recovered the floating bodies and sent to Kushtia general hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.
