Bus service stopped on Natore-Bogra highway

Natore Correspondent: The bus service has been stopped on Natore-Bogra highway due to indefinite strike imposed by bus owners. 

The strike started indefinitely from Thursday morning.

The strike has been imposed in protest against collection of extortion from different vehicles in Singra and other places.
 

Natore District Bus Owners Association President Laxon Poddar alleged that in the name of Natore District of Owners of Motor Vehicles, a group of people collected money from different vehicles. Bus owners have been demanding for a long time to stop the extortion.

They have called the strike as the extortion is not stopped.
