COVID-19 cases top 1000-mark in Rajshahi division

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has crossed 1000-mark in eight districts of Rajshahi division.

The number of total COVID-19 cases in the division now stands at 1,050 with 88 new cases reported today (June 3).

Of those infected, as many as 253 have recovered and 280 are undergoing treatment in hospitals in the division.

Besides, a total of nine people have died so far in the division.

Dr Gopendranath Acharya, health director of Rajshahi division, came up with the information on Wednesday noon.
