3 dead sued over Gazipur boiler blast

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A case has been filed over the incident of boiler explosion at Multifabs Ltd, an apparel factory, of the district's Nayaparha, in which 13 workers were killed.

In the case, three operators of the factory who were killed in the blast were sued along with 10 unknown people.

Abdur Rashid, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of  Chakroborty police camp, filed the case on Tuesday night.

Aminul Islam, Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Joydevpur Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said boiler operators of the factory Abdus Salam, Ershad, Monsurul Haque, who were killed, and 10 other unknown people had been accused in the case.
