Corpse does not spread coronavirus, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS, came up with the disclosure during regular online bulletin on Wednesday.
She said, “World Health Organisation (WHO) says there is no evidence of being spreading coronavirus from dead body. It needs several hours to cremate a dead body and virus becomes inactive after three hours. So, there is no possibility of spreading coronavirus from corpse.”
However, we need to be more alert while burying dead boy, she added.
