Ctg private univ employee found dead

Police recovered a body of a young woman from her residence at Khulshi area of the port city on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rosy Akter, 20. She was an employee of the Port City International University.

Her husband Rezaul Karim went into hiding since the incident. He also worked as a security guard of the university.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulshi Police Station Pranab Chowdhury confirmed this to media.

Pranab Chowdhury said, “The lifeless body of Rosy was found from a residence in Jhautola Diesel Colony on Monday morning. But police didn’t find husband of the deceased in the residence.”

He said, “We primarily suspect that Rosy was killed over a conjugal feud. Details will be revealed after finding Rezaul and drives are underway to nab him.”
