Cyclon 'Mora' hits Ctg coast after Cox's Bazar

Staff Correspondent: The cyclonic storm ‘Mora’ has hit Chittagong coast, after hitting Cox's Bazar coast around 6:00am on Tuesday.
During the strike, the maximum sustained wind speed in Chittagong was 125 kph.
According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the severe cyclonic storm ‘Mora’ started crossing Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong coast near Kutubdia at 6:00 am. It hit Teknaf coast with the speed of 135 kph and Saitn Martin with 114 kph.
It is likely to take one hour more to cross Bangladesh coast, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Under its influence gusty or squally wind with rain or thunder showers is continuing over North Bay and the coastal districts and maritime ports of Bangladesh.
