Information Minister Hasan Mahmud said the ongoing drives against drugs and irregularities will be started in Chattogram too.
The minister said this while addressing national television inter-school debate competition at Theater Institute Chattogram (TIC) on Friday afternoon.
He said, “The drives are going on in the capital. They will begin in Chattogram too. It will continue.”
“I believe in building logic base society. That’s not possible without debating. School debate competition is helpful in this case,” he added.
BTV director general SM Haroon-or-Rashid presided over the program where MP Wasika Ayesha Khan, Information Ministry additional secretary Md Azharul Haque and Nurul Karim attended.
