Farmer killed in rival attack in Sirajganj

Sirajganj Correspondent: A farmer named Khorshed Alam Khushi (55) has been killed by his rival over a land dispute in the district’s Tarash upazila.

The incident took place around 11.00am on Monday at Gonta village under Talom union.
Khorshed Alam was the son of Muhi Fakir of the village.

Talom Union Parishad Chairman Abbasuzzaman said that Khorshed Alam had a dispute with Abdul Aziz over a piece of land. On Monday morning, Abdul Aziz's men attacked Khorshed as he went there for the cultivation of paddy. Seriously injured Khorshed Alam was rushed to Tarash Upazila Health Complex where duty doctors declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tarash Police Station Manzur Rahman said confirmed the matter.
