Former Ctg Bar president Kabir Chowdhury dies of coronavirus

Former president of Chattogram District Bar Association Advocate Kabir Chowdhury has died of coronavirus.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Chattogram General Hospital around 11:15am on Tuesday.

Chattogram District Bar Association president Syed Moktar Ahmed confirmed the news.

He said, “Kabir Chowdhury was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus-like symptoms. On Monday, he tested positive for coronavirus. He was taken to ICU after his health condition deteriorated on the day. There, he passed away on Tuesday.”
