Four army men including 2 officials killed: ISPR

Staff Correspondent: Four members of the army including 2 officials have been killed and 10 injured in a landslide in Rangamati’s Manikchhari with one still missing.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) disclosed this at a press release on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased army officials are Major Mohammad Mahfuzul Haq, Captain Md Tanvir Salam Shanto, Corporal Mohammad Azizul Haq and soldier Md Shahin Alam.

An army team of 16 members was clearing mud of landslide from a link road in Manikchhari in the morning when another landslide occurred around 11.00am.

“Four army men have been killed and 10 others suffered injuries in the incident. Another army man is still missing,” the ISPR press release said.
