Gazipur boiler blast: 6 bodies handed over

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur:  Bodies of six victims in Monday’s deadly boiler explosion in the district’s Joydebpur upazila have been handed over to their families.

At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured in the boiler explosion at a garment factory on Monday evening.

Those bodies have been handed over are Al Amin, son of Ali at Gubra village under Shalikha Thana in Magura district, Engineer Mujibur Rahman, son of Sagar Ali Mir at Kunda village under Nasirnagar Thana in Brahmanbaria, Biplob Chandro Shil, son of Monindro Nath in Chordasnando area of Rajbari, Gias Uddin Chhoial, son of Bachchu Chhoial at Modna Thana in Chandpur district, Mahbubur Rahman, son of Shahar Ali at Sonatala in Bogra and boiler in-charge Abdus Salam who hailed from Chittagong. 

Family members of the victims identified them at the hospital morgue.
