Gopalganj road crash kills 4

Gopalganj Correspondent: At least four people were killed and 25 others injured as two buses collided on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Muksudpur of Gopalganj on Monday noon.

Of the deceased one was identified as Abul Sikdar, 50 and others remained unidentified instantly.

Ejazul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station said that a Barisal-bound passenger bus collided with another passenger bus in the area around 2:00pm, leaving two people dead on the spot and injured 27 others.

Later, the injured were sent to Muksudpur, Rajoir health complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital where two more died under treatment in Rajoir health complex.

The death toll may rise, OC added.
