Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said it is not possible to hold Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) and equivalent examinations until the coronavirus situation is brought under control. The exams will be held when a health risk-free environment will be created.
The Minister made the disclosure while inaugurating teachers’ training programme online on Saturday.
She said Exams and admission are huge tasks. We cannot put the health of a huge number of people involved in this process at risk. So at the moment, we can't say when it is possible to take the HSC exam. We will only be able to arrange the examinations when a health risk-free environment will be created.
The Minister also urged those, who passed the SSC examinations, not to be worried about college admission.
She said many congratulations and best wishes to those who have passed the SSC exams and are waiting to get admission to colleges. I would say don't worry about it at all.
