Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Awami League (AL) Publicity Affairs Secretary Hasan Mahmud has termed the US based Human Rights Watch (HRW) as a tenant organisation.
The former minister said this in a press briefing at Chittagong Press Club on Friday noon.
He said HRW is working for a party and a quarter to put the government in trouble through questioning its activities. BNP Chief Khaleda's statement is similar and identical to that of HRW.
"HRW is playing controversial roles since its inauguration founded by Robert Bernstein in 1978. Though the organisation started its journey with the commitments of running uninterruptedly and without any liaison with any country, but founder Robert Bernstein fell in strong criticism for allegedly taking donation from people related to Saudi government.
