Helal Uddin Ahmed made EC secretary

Secretariat Correspondent: Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Helal Uddin Ahmed has been made acting secretary of Election Commission (EC) Secretariat.

Meanwhile Abdul Hannan, officer on special duty (OSD) attached to Public Safety Department of the Public Administration Ministry, has been made the chairman of Land Appeal Board.

A notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry revealed the news on Thursday.

The shuffle will immediately be enforced, according to the notification signed by senior assistant secretary of the ministry Anisur Rahman.

Meanwhile according to another notification signed by Deputy Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Farhana Kawnain, secretary of EC secretariat Muhammad Abdullah has been made secretary of the Ministry of Industries.

Prime Minister's personal secretary-2, Dr Namita Halder has been made acting secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare.
