Helicopter at Kashimpur jail boundary: 4 held

Gazipur Correspondent: The law enforcers have detained four people including a Malaysian family when a helicopter landed in Kashimpur jail complex area in Gazipur on Thursday.

The helicopter landed in the area around 11:00am. Meanwhile, the jail authority detained a Bangladeshi, a Malaysian citizen along with his wife and two children.

Kashimpur High Security Central Jail Jailer Bikash Raihan told risingbd.com that the helicopter landed near RP gate of the jail complex.

In the primary interrogation, it was learnt that the helicopter was scheduled to land at Titas factory but the pilot mistakenly landed at the jail area.

Kashimpur central jail-2 jail super Subrata Kumar Banik said that the family was going to join a marriage programme in Comilla. But, the helicopter landed at jail complex.

Interrogation is underway in this regard, he added.
