Housewife slaughtered in Narayanganj

A woman was slaughtered at Kolagachhia Uttarpara under Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj early Wednesday.

The deceased was known as Saleha Begum, daughter of Hasen Ali ot the village.

The incident took place when Saleha was staying at her father’s home.

Since the incident, Saleha’s husband Mosharraf Hossain went in hiding. He is son Abdul Khaleque Mia of Khademchar area of Madhabdi.

The couple has a son a daughter.

Araihazar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam confirmed the news.

He said woman’s husband might kill her over family feud.

Araihazar Sub-Inspector Nasir said, Mosharraf used to live in his father-in-law’s house with his family. There had been family a dispute for several days over money. As a sequel to that, Mosharraf went out from his father-in-law’s house three days before the murder took place.
