Injunction issued on JCD council

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has issued a temporary injunction on holding the council of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student front of BNP, scheduled to be held on September 14.

Judge Nusrat Jahan Bithi of the fourth assistant judge’s court of Dhaka passed the order on Thursday.

Earlier, Md Aman Ullah Aman, a former assistant religious affairs secretary of JCD, filed a case seeking a permanent injunction on holding the council.

After hearing the case, the court asked BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Almagir and nine others to forward reply of show cause notice in next seven days.
