Italy sends back 125 Bangladeshi to Doha

Some 125 Bangladeshi passengers were sent back to Doha from Italy on Wednesday (July 8).
Earlier, the Italian authority denied to accept the Bangladeshi passengers over concerns of spreading coronavirus. Even, the passengers were not allowed to disembark from a Qatar Airways flight at Italy's Fiumicino Airport.
However, the other passengers of other nationalities, including some Italians, are undergoing testing at the airport and will be placed in home quarantine.
On Monday, 225 Bangladeshi went to Rome from Dhaka. Later, 21 of them were tested coronavirus positive. As part of it, On Tuesday, Italy suspended all flights from Bangladesh.
