Keep coaching centres shut from Sep 1: Nasim

Senior Correspondent: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim directed the owners to stop operating their coaching centres in the country from September 1 in a bid to hold the entry tests for admission in MBBS and BDS courses under 2017-18 academic session in a fair manner.

The minister came up with the direction while speaking at a meeting at his secretariat office on Wednesday noon.

Nasim said, "Necessary steps will be taken so that the entry tests for admission in MBBS and BDS courses can be held in a fair manner. Some coaching centres make fake question papers to misguide the students and guardians for money."

He asked the law enforcers to remain vigilant to foil such attempts.

The minister called upon the students to study attentively.

The entry tests for admission in MBBS and BDS courses under 2017-18 academic session will be held on October 6 and November 10 respectively.
