Land service hotline to be launched on Oct 10

The land service hotline (call centers) of Land Ministry will be inaugurated on October 10.  

Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury made the announcement while addressing a view exchange meeting with Land Reform Board officials at the BIWTA Bhaban in Motijheel on Monday.

He said, “We want to ensure transparency in every land office of the country.”

“Initiatives to set up the hotline were taken to hear out the feedbacks and complaints of irregularities of the Land Office from the citizens”, he added.  

Meanwhile, the minister gave directives to the AC lands, to work with transparency and accountability and instructed them to prepare the list of the government khas lands within their respective jurisdictions as well.

Land reform board chairman Ummul Hasna presided over the view exchange meeting where Land secretary Md Maksudur Rahman Patwari, Additional secretary (development) Md Abdul Haque, Board member Mohammad Jakir Hossain and others attended.
