Lightning strike kills 2 farmers in Jhenaidah

Jhenaidah Correspondent: Two farmers have been killed in a lightning strike in the district.
The incident took place around 9.00am on Friday at Harihora village under Shailkupa upazila.
The deceased were identified as Woaj Mondol (40) and Ratan Mondol (45).
Jhenaidah Additional Police Super Ajbar Ali Sheikh said a lightning strike hit them when they were working in a jute field, leaving one dead on the spot and two injured. Another died at hospital.
