List of 261 Pakistani war criminals released

Staff Correspondent: A list of 261 Pakistani soldiers, who are believed to have committed war crimes in 1971, has been published.

In a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), International War Crimes Mass Trial Movement (IWCMTM) released the list on Thursday.

According to the report, the war criminals include- General Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan, General Abdul Hamid Khan, Lieutenant General Pirzada, Lieutenant Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, Lieutenant General Tikka Khan and 43 senior Pakistani generals, majors, major generals, brigadiers and lieutenant colonels.

Shipping Minister and convener of the campaign for International War Crimes Mass Trial Movement (IWCMTM) Shajahan Khan said, "Highlighting 21 points, we started movements demanding justice of Pakistani war criminals on December 18, 2015. We are happy that we have published a full list of Pakistani war criminals. We have succeeded to implement three points already."

"We will try to implement the demands with the support of people in the country," he added.
