Main Eid jamaat at National Eidgah at 8:00am

Secretariat Correspondent: The main Eid jamaat (congregation) of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the capital at 8:00am.

In case of inclement weather, the main jamaat will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:30am in the Eid day.

The decision was taken from an inter-ministerial meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

At the meeting with Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman in the chair, Eid-ul-Azha programmmes were prepared and its efficient implementation strategies were taken. 

The Eid-ul-Azha will be observed September 2, subject to moon sighting.
