Man to walk gallows for killing mother

Lakshmipur Correspondent: A man has been sentenced to death by a Lakshmipur court for killing his mother in Charmartin area under Kamalnagar upazila in 2005.
Additional district and session judge, M Saidur Rahman Gazi, passed the order on Tuesday noon.
The convict was identified as Harun-or-Rashid, 40.
According to the case statement, on July 17, 2005, following family feud Harun attacked his mother with lethal weapon, leaving his mother dead on the spot.
Later, victim's daughter Minara Begum filed a murder case with Ramgati police station on July 18.
