Moulvibazar Correspondent: Mother and daughter were killed during landslide at Modhho Dimai village in Barlekha upazila of Moulvibazar district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Afia Begum, wife of late Abdus Sattar and.
The deceased were identified as Afiya Begum, 38, wife of later Abdus Sattar and Fahmida Begum, 13.
Barlekha police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidur Rahman said that a hillslide collapsed on their house at 3:30am due to torrential rain, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Later, locals recovered the bodies around 6:30am.
